We love a great proposal location. And one Brillianteers Couple has topped our list with the most unique proposal idea we’ve seen thus far. We were absolutely thrilled when we first saw the proposal photos of the beautiful couple, Danny & Gina.

What an absolute thrill not only to see one of the world’s ancient wonders but to propose to the love of your life in front of the Pyramid of Chichen Itza. We had a quick chat with Danny all about the details of his special proposal, and how he got the perfect ring for the perfect moment.
How did you both meet?
Danny: We met back when I was in high school and she was in one of my older brothers classes in college
Was the Proposal a Big Surprise?
Danny: Yes! Big surprise ❤
What made you decide on such a unique proposal idea?
Danny: Even though that moment will be special as it is, I wanted to make it even more memorable and unforgettable. Her first time traveling to Mexico and our first time seeing one of the world’s wonders the Pyramid of Chichen Itza.
What’s the best relationship advice you have to keep a marriage strong and full of love?
Danny: Communication and understanding, putting yourself in your partner’s shoes to better understand her point of view. And in our case. Having God as the center of it all!
How did you know what ring to get, and what made you choose Brillianteers?
Danny: I travel a lot for work and don’t always have the time to stop at a jewelry store. I looked online and when I saw the ring I knew instantly it was the one. It fits her personality and her style. She even said that she said even if she tried she wouldn’t find a more perfect ring!
What advice would you give someone who’s looking for a ring? But has no idea really where to start?
Danny: To keep an open mind on where to look. I was a little skeptical at first when buying it online. But I loved the experience and the treatment you guys offered.
